I’ve been blogging actively for some time now – since 2003 – but mainly written in my native Portuguese. I’ve had humouristic blogs and technical blogs but never really got to write a generalist personal blog about stuff I care.

And what do I care about?

First of all, I love being a software engineer and it should be expected that views on technology, programming and software architecture will be a  big part of this blog. As an engineer my view of the world is often an analytical one as seen through the lenses of pragmatism.

I consider myself a humanist and assume a social democrat political view, so some positions I make might reflect exactly that.

All in all, I might write about anything I care about and try not to make this a cheesy personal blog. Instead, I want like minded people to enjoy what I have to share and contribute with their own opinions.
